Kadamphool, is a retail outlet showcasing the traditional “Nokshi Kantha” of Murshidabad district, West Bengal.

The collective is of more than 1400 women embroiderers who make the “Nokshi” or Geometric Patterns by counting stitches, a form, which is handed down from mothers to daughters over the ages. These pieces of art are all unique. Mostly made for personal use or as gifts during childbirth and marriages. Kadamphool is an endeavour to bring Kantha from the Home that is “Ghare” to the world outside which is “ Baire”.
